Question: What is the difference between CPR and BLS?

Answer: CPR stands for Cardiopulmonary resuscitation. CPR classes are for general public or layperson. 

BLS or Basic Life Support or CPR for Healthcare Providers or BCLS or Basic Cardiac Life Support are required to be taken by Healthcare providers like Doctors, Dentists, Nurses, EMT, Paramedics, Occupational Therapists, CNAs, LPNs, Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants, Physical Therapists, Respiratory Therapists, Healthcare Students, Pharmacy Technicians, Fire Fighter, Phlebotomists, Radiologic Technologists, MRI Technologists, Speech Language Pathologists and more.

Question: What is the difference between (AHA) American Heart Association and (ARC) American Red Cross?

Answer: American Heart Association and American Red Cross is two different entity. Even though both organizations' objective is to save life, their procedures are different. Based on experience, American Heart Association has slightly higher acceptance rate from universities and employers than American Red Cross. BUT, for you to be sure, you should communicate with your university/employer for their preference.

Question: What is the difference between Recertification and Renewal?

Answer:  Most of American Red Cross and American Heart Heart association Certificate is valid within 2 Years. Recertification means that your previous certification to a certain organization is lapsed or expired and you are redoing the certification again on the same organization. Renewal means that your previous certification to a certain organization is not expired yet and you are updating the certification again on the same organization.

Question: Can I switch my American Red Cross Certificate to American Heart Association Certificate (or vice Versa)?

Answer: Unfortunately, no. Once we process the certification, we cannot retract it back and ask for a refund. The best course of action is to book for correct certification that you need.

Question: Can I cancel my booking?

Answer: Once you booked with us, you are bound to Majarlika LLC. TERMS and CONDITIONS. All sales are FINAL and will not refund for and cancelations. Though, we can always Reschedule, transfer credit or carry credit. (Please review Majarlika LLC. TERMS and CONDITIONS for more details).

Question: What are the requirements to get my certificate?

Answer: Requirements varies from organizations. We offer American Red Cross Blended Classes that usually has 4 mandatory requirements:

1. ONLINE Portion of the class
2. ONLINE EXAM
3. In-person class (approximately 2 Hours)
4. Hands-on Skill Session (approximately 15 minutes)

We also offer American Heart Association In-person Classes that usually has 3 mandatory requirements:

1. In-person Lecture (approximately 2.5 Hours)
2. In-person multiple choice EXAM (80% to pass) <optional for CPR Class>
3. Hands-on Skill Session (approximately 15 minutes)

For STOP THE BLEED Classes:

1. In-person Lecture (approximately 1.5 Hours)
2. Hands-on demonstration of direct pressure, packing of wound & tourniquet application (approximately 5 minutes)

Question: Where can I get the Online Portion of the class?

Answer: After successfully booking a Blended Learning Class, you will receive an automated email from us containing specific instruction on how to obtain the Online Portion. (Please check your email's inbox/spam/bulk)

Question: Can I use my cellphone to do the online portion of the class?

Answer:  If you’ve registered for a First Aid/CPR/AED online course, you can access it on PC, tablets and mobile devices and on Apple® Safari® 13+, Microsoft® Edge 85+, Internet Explorer 11, Mozilla® Firefox® 81+?and Google Chrome™ 85+ browsers.  

For all other courses, copy RedCrossLearningCenter.org into a Firefox or Google Chrome browser from your PC, tablet or laptop. We recommend a non-apple devices.

Question: When can I get my Certificate?

Answer: The usual standard practice of ARC and AHA is to distribute the DIGITAL CERTIFICATE the same day after successful completion of all requirements. The DIGITAL CERTIFICATE will be emailed to your given email address upon registration. If you would like to purchase a physical laminated card, please contact us for more details. Question: I did not receive my digital certificate, what should I do?

Answer: Processing delays and Errors can occur in different manners, like, wrong email address, system maintenance, Power outages, Force of nature, Payment issues and more. Inquiries regarding Digital Certificate should be addressed directly by texting/calling us or emailing us. (see the contact information at the end of FAQ)
